Our story

Why we put our license front and center

Central Florida is full of good people doing remodeling work, and too many of them are doing it without a license, without permits, and without the insurance that protects you when something goes wrong. Homeowners usually find that out at the worst possible time: a failed inspection, a denied insurance claim, or a problem discovered at resale.

We built Florida Legacy Construction to be the other kind of contractor. State-licensed. Fully insured. Permits pulled and inspections passed whenever the work calls for them. A written scope before we start and a written 1-year workmanship warranty when we finish.

From kitchen and bathroom remodels to additions, custom homes, and commercial build-outs, the owner stays involved in every project, because in a market this size, our reputation is the whole business.

The people behind the license

You are not handing your home to a call center. Here is the crew that plans, manages, and stands behind every project we take on.

Travis Strickland

Owner

Travis started Florida Legacy Construction to be the licensed, fully insured alternative in a market with too many unlicensed remodelers. He stays hands-on from the first walkthrough to the final inspection, because in a market this size the company's reputation rides on every job. Kitchen remodel or commercial build-out, the standard is the same: permits when required, everything in writing, and work you can verify.

How we work

Three things you can hold us to

Permits when required

If the job requires a permit, we pull it and schedule the inspections to prove the work was done right. No shortcuts, no "we don't really need one for this."

Everything in writing

Itemized proposals before work starts. Change orders in writing. A 1-year workmanship warranty you can actually read, not a handshake promise.

Everything verifiable

Our license, insurance, and reviews are all public. We'd rather earn your trust with documents than with sales talk.
