Our Process

How a project runs from first call to final walkthrough

No mystery, no runaround. Here is exactly what working with Florida Legacy Construction looks like, in six steps.

1

Free virtual estimate

It starts with a fifteen-minute video call from your phone. You walk us through the space, tell us what you want, and ask anything. No pressure, and no salesperson sitting at your kitchen table for three hours.

Day one
2

Written scope and proposal

We follow up with an itemized written proposal: what is included, what is not, and what it costs. You will never wonder what you agreed to, because it is on paper.

Within days
3

Contract and schedule

A clear contract, a realistic schedule, and straight answers about lead times. If your project needs permits, we tell you now and build the timeline around reality, not wishful thinking.

Before work starts
4

Permits and preparation

We pull permits where the work requires them and order materials so the job does not stall mid-stream. Cabinet and fixture lead times get managed before demo day, not discovered after.

When required
5

Construction

Our crews and qualified trades do the work while we manage the sequence, the quality, and the communication. Changes happen in writing so the budget stays honest. Inspections are scheduled and passed as the work progresses.

Build weeks
6

Final walkthrough and warranty

We walk the project together and build a punch list, then we actually finish the punch list. You get a written 1-year workmanship warranty, and we ask you to hold us to it.

The finish
What to expect

Three promises about how we communicate

You get straight answers

If something costs more, takes longer, or is a bad idea, we say so early. Surprises on job sites are normal. Surprises on invoices should not be.

You know who to call

One point of contact from estimate to walkthrough. You are never chasing a subcontractor who does not answer to you.

Everything lives in writing

Scope, schedule, changes, and warranty, all documented. Paper protects both of us, and professionals are not afraid of it.
