Travis Strickland, licensed building contractor CBC1268994, oversees every project in person. We handle bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, home additions, ADU construction, and commercial remodeling across all service areas.

Marion CountyOcala is our primary market in Marion County. We serve all Ocala zip codes including 34470, 34471, 34472, 34473, 34474, 34475, 34476, 34479, 34480, 34481, and 34482. Homes range from 1970s neighborhoods in NE and SE Ocala to newer developments in SW Ocala. No travel fee applies within Ocala.
The Villages, FL
Sumter, Marion, and Lake CountiesThe Villages spans three counties. Most of the community falls in Sumter County, with portions in Marion and Lake counties. We pull permits from the correct county for your address. Walk-in shower conversions and ADA-accessible bathroom upgrades are our most common projects here. Our Wildwood office is 5 to 20 minutes from most Village Districts.
Wildwood, FL
Sumter CountyWildwood is our home base. Florida Legacy Construction is located at 4076 FL-44 #43, Wildwood, FL 34785. We are a local Wildwood business, not a company dispatching from another market. No travel fee applies to any Wildwood project. Wildwood borders The Villages and has a growing base of homes built in the 2000s through 2010s.
Belleview, FL
Marion CountyBelleview is in south Marion County along US-441. The area has a mix of older established neighborhoods and newer subdivisions near the US-441 corridor. We serve all of Belleview and surrounding south Marion County communities. Our Wildwood office is approximately 20 to 30 minutes north via US-441.
Summerfield, FL
Marion CountySummerfield sits between Belleview and the Sumter County line in south Marion County. The area includes large 55-plus communities such as Oak Run and On Top of the World. Walk-in shower conversions, grab bar installation, and ADA-accessible upgrades are the most common projects in Summerfield. We are approximately 25 to 35 minutes north via US-441.
Silver Springs Shores, FL
Marion CountySilver Springs Shores is an unincorporated community in east Marion County. Many homes in this area were built in the 1980s and still have original bathroom fixtures and tub surrounds. Full bathroom replacements are common here rather than patch repairs. We serve Silver Springs Shores as part of our standard Marion County coverage.
Leesburg, FL
Lake CountyLeesburg is in Lake County, approximately 30 minutes from our Wildwood office via US-27 or SR-44. Florida Legacy Construction holds a statewide CBC license, so we pull Lake County permits without any additional registration. Leesburg has a large active adult population including residents of Plantation at Leesburg. Walk-in shower conversions and ADA upgrades are the most common projects in the area.

Marion County
Our primary market. Permit office in Ocala. Serves Ocala, Belleview, Summerfield, Silver Springs Shores, Dunnellon, and surrounding communities.
Sumter County
Home to The Villages and Wildwood. We pull Sumter County permits for all communities in this area including Lady Lake, Oxford, and Coleman.
Lake County
Serves Leesburg, Lady Lake, Fruitland Park, and portions of The Villages in Lake County. Permits pulled from Lake County Building Division.
